Professional Background

Scott Fink is an experienced litigator with a record of successful outcomes.  Scott has broad experience in diverse business litigation, securities/FINRA matters and employment litigation cases.  He has handled complex cases in a variety of forums.

Scott represents clients in a number of industries and routinely handles business disputes involving claims for fraud, negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, and misrepresentations.  Scott also represents clients in shareholder or partnership disputes and insurance coverage matters.

Scott’s securities/FINRA practice involves litigating disputes between investors and their financial advisers, typically in the FINRA arbitration process.  These cases often involve allegations of fraud, unsuitability, churning, and misrepresentation.

In the employment context, Scott advises and represents clients in the midst of contract negotiations.  He also reviews severance agreements, advises on termination issues, and litigates discrimination claims, issues involving non-compete agreements and wage and hour disputes.

Scott has appeared on the Money Matters Radio Network to discuss employment law issues and has served as an MCLE faculty member.  Scott was also selected by the Boston Bar Association to be a Public Interest Leadership Fellow, which brings together up and coming Boston attorneys who have demonstrated a commitment to pro bono and public service activities.

Scott was selected as a Massachusetts Rising Star in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 by New England Super Lawyers.

After graduating from law school, he had the distinction of serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable A. Richard Caputo in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Scott received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Scott is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, California, and Minnesota. Scott’s wife is also a litigator in Boston.
